Harrington
I'm not really into hunting myself, but what I've read so far, people recommend the Red Chinchompas around lvl 70+
ultimatballr
You could get it in that timeframe but it would require more than 2 hours a day. Possibly 3-4 even 5 hours a day to get 99. I've heard of getting 99 in 2 weeks but thats with "no-lifing" and I am unsure how many hours people consider to be "no-lifing". I think 4-5 a day would be best for 99 in that timespan but again thats alot of hours to be catching those darned rodents And remember this, ALOT of people are going to advise you against doing chins at 63, however most of them just go with the crowd and have not experienced it for themselves. I did chins from 63-78 so far, and in all honesty it was not as slow as people make it to be, now maybe doing red sallys up and until 70 would of been faster exp, I still enjoyed doing chins from 63-78 and I will continue to do them up until 99. I posted that on a different hunter thread, I believe playing that much it will most likely take you 2 weeks maybe 3 max. Apparently, my signature was to big. Lord Diddy
I do not recommend grey chinchompas at 53-59, there are better alternatives like orange salamanders\ falconry. My advice 53-57 orange salamander, and some falconry (so you don't get too bored) 57-59 Dark kebbit (falconry) 59-70 Red salamander 70-75 Dashing kebbit (falconry) 75-99 Chinchompa Frankly I find Falconry one of the best methods to train. Instead of luck it is more focused on how you time your clicks (if you are behind the kebbit, more like to be caught) and the respawn spots. Shyla
At level 53 I actually still hunted ferrets (do eagles peak quest), it's lightning quick exp. Ferrets (only requires 27 hunter) so at 53, you rarely fail and is really fast exp. I stuck with it until 60 then did orange sals until 70. Orange sals only require 47 hunter so at level 60, it's less fail rate compared to red sals which require 59 hunter. Falconry is slower imho since you have to bury/drop the bone and fur, kinda annoying if you ask me. So I did orange sals instead. A lot of people don't like orange sals since it's in the desert. I'm not sure if desert camo functions the same as desert robes (cluessless tbh) but I wore desert camo + 8 waterskins and I last for like 40 minutes in the desert. In 40 minutes I can get 45-55k experience \ I tried hunting chins when I got 63, and the catch rate's really slow. I think I only got 120 in an hour (if I remember correctly). Plus it's pretty frustrating when one chin owns all four of your traps. So: 53-60 = ferrets 60-70 = orange sals 70-99 = red chins A friend who started from level 1 actually got 59 in two days with my technique. I myself got 99 hunter in a month.
