Hey i was just wandering if anyone here likes bloc party. They are probably my favourite band at the moment and are a change from all the generic bands i have been hearing recently. im wanting to go to manchester to see them but its sold out so ill have to wait until Leeds Festival :).

Yep I think they are awesome. :D ONe of my fave band atm too.

I've heard it already and it's not as good as I expected though, they're sounding too much like U2 now. :\ But still, it's a fantastic album, but just not as good as "GODLIKE". >_>

I went to see them in feb, the NME tour. Out of kaiser chiefs, the futureheads and the killers, bloc party came 4th in the best set.

 

 

 

I dunno, they are different, and good because they are different, but they dont have that energy that all the others do.

I reckon a better way to do it would be through iTunes. Download it, then go to the store, search the artist, and double-click the song. 30-second preview, organized and in English :P.

its really hard for me to comprehand what they are saying, the music flushes most of the lyrics. Its still good though, pretty catchy, and once u comprehend the lyrics thats a big plus. Really like some of their songs, (Banquet, So Here We Are Now)
