PhantomEyes
Yes, I finally got a decent Slayer Task . Now I'm wondering how to do this well and efficiently. Could someone please help? I would appreciate perhaps a list of (affordable :P) items that I should use, along with any other useful advice. Thanks :D.

Assassin1357
just use your best range gear with a crossbow. a bone c'bow might be good since its cheap and hits high
PhantomEyes
Range :). Ok thanks, that was a great help :D.
mchainmail
Range is the ONLY way to do it. With your stats, they may hit more than guthans would cover. However, if it is semi-crowded, you may be able to use bones-to-peaches and pick up other peoples bones. (This works much better at a higher level (100+ cb)
pikachu54673
Here's the way I do it: (COPIED DIRECTLY FROM MY PMG) You might want to get 60+range first, seeing as you have 58 ATM [hide=Hellhounds] Reasons to chose Hellhounds over Jellies - You do not have 52 Slayer - You would prefer to train Range The great thing [and not so great thing] about Hellhounds is that they only drop Clues and bones. So, if you are looking for some Range experience, with some Third Age and Robin Hats as rewards [Good luck], than try this method out! Requirements: - Started Hero's Quest - 60+ Range [50-59 may suffice] - Bow + Arrows - Range bonus armour Recommendations: - Form of teleport Hellhounds attack with MELEE, but you can easily safespot them. Suggested Inventory/ Equipment: Explanation: All this stuff is pretty basic. Just wear your best range outfit, with some food just in case you end up in a sticky situation. DON'T FORGET THE DUSTY KEY. Getting There The Hellhounds that I train at are located in the Member's Dungeon in Taverley. Here is the route to get to them, starting in Falador East Bank. [This route is for people w/o the required agility levels for shortcuts] SafeSpots When ranging the Hounds, most people with hide behind the stalagmites. This is a big no-no, because with these non-so-obvious SafeSpots, your Accumulator will be able to do its work. As you can see from this pic, there are 3 good spots to range from. With this method, you can range at the Hellhounds from both directions. Good luck! Returned3
Alternatively, you can go to the place where you mine "perfect" gold ores and kill hellhounds there. Its alot easier and convient-er to get there. I'll suggest you bring any armour and 5-10 food plus a dragon halberd.(Rune works fine) Just keep safespotting em til they're non agressive, it'll be a piece of cake from there on and you'll never loose a hp. 00:00:0500:00:0400:00:0300:00:0200:00:0100:00:00 Break the Walls down!
