There arnt exactly sites like imageshack for music but there are music hosts if you are a band. Let me know if you want links to these band sites.

no just MP3 songs from my computer, I'm not in any band, unfortunately I was gifted with no talent :P .

How does a profession differ from an occupation?

Just upload the songs to geocities or freewebs, fairly simple and you should be able to figure it out. Then place a link on the home page to the files for people do download...uhh... legaly :roll:
