April 11, 200521 yr Have you checked the sticky of computer supplier companies? You say slot 1 but exactly what processor is it and what is your price range? April 11, 200521 yr Author Well I tried all the suggested sites in the sticky. They all seem a little bit too sophisticated for my needs, and are all for socket processors, not slot 1. The processor I need it for is a PentiumII 266 the old one got a bit melted by the processor when the fan seized up. Any slot 1 heatsink will do as they will all support processors of 266 and above. I don't want a secondhand item, that's why Ebay isn't tried. I looked they all appear to be secondhand on there.
