Aslan
At your level, the best item out of mithril that you can make is the scimitar. High-alchemized it gives you 624 gp.I usually use smithing like this: 1.Equip a rune pick. 2.Withdraw 25 natures and a fire staff. 3.Mine the mithril ore and leave 4 spaces for coal. 4.Superheat the mithril ores into bars. 5.Bank the mithril bars. If you do it this way you will lose~ about 66 gp for every scimitar you make(if you craft your own natures, cosidering you buy the pure ess 90 ea) ~276gp for every scimitar if you buy the natures

Aslan
If you have a different method to Lvl 68 smithing: mithril square shield. You use 2 bars for it,thus using 600 gold piece for the natures if you buy them:100xp:high alchemized 936gp, earning 36gp for each shield.* If you continue to use this technique :Lvl 62:mithril kite:900 gp for natures:150xp:high alchemized:1,326 gp, earning 126 gp for each kite Lvl 64:mithril 2h:900gp for natures:150 xp:high alchemized 1,560,earning 360gp for each 2h(same goes for mithril plate skirt and plate legs)* Lvl 68:mithril platebody:1500gp used for natures:250xp:high alchemized 3,120gp, earning 1320 gp for each platebody * *each method uses 1 nature rune for high alchemy
tryto
Or you could always superheat mitril bars by buying the ores. You can break even doing this, cutting out the mining step. Aslan
That is an option too: Mithril ore 450-500gp(not sure about prices) Coal 200 gp(highest price) Nature rune 300 gp 1x500+200x4+1x300=1600 gp used to make a bar.(1400 gp if you mine 1 coal for each mithril bar, earning 100 gp if you sell the bars). You can mine 1 coal for each mithril bar you want to make. After you make the bars you can sell them 1,500 gp to different companies here on the site. Aslan
As I said if you want to get crafting xp with very low costs:buy brown apron and 4 buckets(around 20gp for all).Equip a mining pick and enter the crafting guild.Mine clay then using it with water from the buckets(that you can refill from a sink nearby), mould 24 clay pots on the potter's wheel and then burn then in the furnace from the crafting guild. You earn 35xp for each pot(840 for 24 clay pots). I am not member, so I don't know about herblore.I do remember though I read about that technique (with tarromin) and it said you get your tarromin back. tryto
i suggest using MTK to get herbs, then sell the pots. You get fairly-high level herbs ,and you should be able to make a profit. Or, if you have a decent farming level, you could grow them yourself. There is an excellent guide to herblore"The Ultimate Guide to Herblore V2", but i cant find it right now.
