(if the emote had to finish) The emote only plays while the character is mining, as far as i know Jagex haven't increased the time it takes to mine.
November 5, 200718 yr The new emote has had no effect on the actual speed it takes to mine an ore. Recently I have been mining a lot and find with my mining level (74), when I mine I get the ore almost instantly.
