Boris5000
Firstly this is just an idea, And if it has already been done I'm sorry. Ok here's the idea. The dragon dagger ice is a just like a normal dragon dagger with a small chance of freezing the target, diasallowing it to move, for a certain period of time. It has the same stats as all dragon daggers (theres no difference between them) DDi - 3 seconds DDi+ - 5 seconds DDi++ - 7 seconds The chance of actually freezing them is a mere 10%(may be too powered) Here's a picture: Examine?: Frozen in the depths of white wolf mountain. How to make: get an ordinary dd and use the special potion like poison pots but ice pots. Made with choc-ice, avantoe + ice cooler + a different item with every stage. i - Oak roots i+ - Magic tree roots i++ - Ice shard* *How to get the ice shard, is a very rare drop dropped by ice fiends. Warrager
Needs more info. How do you get it? Are the reqs the same? How does it look when you freeze someone?

Wouter828
might outbalance the combat triangle. depends on how long it freezes and how often...I wouldn't dare to introduce it to the game if I was jagex. But that's just me. Nice idea boris : Click here for my blog.
Warrager
So, there is no attack that uses up the special attack bar? It just takes effect sometimes like barrows? 10% chance doesn't make it worth it... I would use a DDP++ instead of a DDI++...

You dont always poison with a spec with a ddp, and the ddi is a normal dd it justs has an added effect, like the ddp's poison effect. kemikalkadet
A 30k dagger with the same special as a 45mil godsword or a spell that requires a lot of money to train and a difficult quest to complete? I think the dd is overpowered enough without a freezing ability. Your idea's well though out and well explained but i think it'd be too unbalanced. I'm talking about how a DDP++ spec hits rapidly and twice, for only quarter of the spec bar. The poison is just a bonus if you ask me. I think this could have a slight effect on the combat triangle. Like when someone freezes an oppenent, and runs away to start maging/ranging... But again, a 10% chance of freezing wouldn't be that effective... Angelsbane
hmmm, good idea but there will be some angry mage pkers who are already poed by the zammy gs taking away one of the unique aspects of mage. they already complain about enough stuff as it is but seeing as how the freeze times arent all that powerfull ill support. what are the herblore levels to make the ice potions? winner8212
The dds is as good as it is. No need for its counterpart. Also, if you wanna freeze someone, do it with an ice spell, NOT a melee weapon.
