i have mandriva since i can't use windows anymore because it keeps crashing how do i download java for mandriva?

Do yourself a favour then and uninstall Linux.

 

 

 

This is just the first of many simple tasks that are made hard while using Linux.

 

 

 

Or choose a better distrobution. Ubuntu is the fan favourite at the moment. I'd also suggest Fedora.

 

 

 

If you really want to keep Mandriva, you'll have to buff up on computer terms. And you'll probably be using the console (text typing thingie) a lot.

Sorry, I dont use Linux, but I am a Windows expert, sorry.... :(

Switch to a more user friendly distro, like ubuntu, or google for the tutorial.
