Item - Broken armour

Featured Replies

Hiya,

I've just finished doing the Digsite quest, and I noticed the image for broken armour isn't the same as in the corresponding item database file. I'm guessing it was updated with one of the more recent "graphical improvements".

I don't have anything fancy, but I can provide a render at least:

Also, the examine info now says, "No use to me in this state...". General stores won't take them, and they appear to have put on some weight as well:

1 = 7 kg

2 = 15 kg

3 = 23 kg

4 = 30 kg

5 = 38 kg

6 = 46 kg

Do that thing you do! :wink:

Thanks,

~Stihl

as far as I'm aware, that;s a different type of broken armour. What I usually get is the same as the image in database. I think if you repair it in your house it will turn out to be platelegs, rather than the other type which makes platebodies.

Not sure, I haven't found that type of broken armour before.

The other db entry is damaged armour http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=2318 using the same pic, lol.

The item you have pictured (showing the various short straight pieces) is repairable into legs (bronze through mith I believe) when used on armour stand with hammer.

Both entries should be linked to http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?p ... tiprepairs and the descriptions should be adjusted to reflect the info there:

Repairing damaged armour on a level 55 armour stand earns 25 Smithing xp and may yield a bronze/iron/steel/mithril plate. Repairing "broken" armour may yield bronze/iron/steel/mithril legs.

Hopefully the items db team will get to this shortly. Thanks for pointing out the data mismatch. If you could provide a screenie of the examine, that would also be helpful.

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.

Realize, however, that textbox editing is particularly elementary. I could alter the examine info to read, "spontaneously combusting blingwad" with little difficulty.
