A Really Big Suggestion

Maybe the Surprise for 2008

By Cafebcs

[hide=Presentation]"From the player experience side (as f2p player that made 1018 total level only with f2p skills and actually 1856 total level getting almost mining 90 and runecraft 77 on f2p) with construction 81, and other awesome skills etc. (and having a big rs family getting members everyday) I can say a bit of what I think about both, p2p and f2p.

I'm looking and suggesting to jagex as his loyal costumer. The costume have the reason, says the people. I'm sure this suggestion (I sended it to them using the costume support system) if at least make to think to jagex on offer a better service then it done its job.

If a miracle happens and jagex have unlimited money (or assistance) without need to get money from his members it could be a good suggestion. Try think of it with calm, I took time on formule it.

Don't think on money >.<"

[/hide]

[hide=Introduction]"My point is that if member updates are on both servers then member servers could be less crowded, making to jagex works more on the quality of the member service.

Runescape, as product, could worth more with a massive population than only free members that pays for a expansion. Im sure lots of players of another regions of the world could test runescape just because the quality of member updates. But those updates are limited to members and they (the non players) only see the space that is in the free worlds."

[/hide]

[hide=Prologue]"Member worlds for members, free worlds restricted on experience (getting certificates of the skill trained) but playing like a normal member (except on carry the certificates on inventory). Those certificates get exchangeable on member worlds for members.

I found out that the important of runescape is the people that plays there and not the stuff of being member or not. It just was on the way that someone was worried about the crowed member worlds and I ended with this solution. It really was writing thinking of good faith and not thinking about my actual condition of player (being forced to pay with card or no membership)

I dissagre on keep people cautive because they can lost membership. I gave my items to my friends before be non member without know that I was not able of renew by bank transfer. I know of players that quitted because they didn't want the reality of become free players. For me membership is not an status, it just an expansion of the free worlds.

And Im worried about jagex ends closing free worlds too (or make it shorter like a trial game or tutorial island)"

[/hide]

[hide=Suggestion]"Experience Certificates for members skills trained on free player worlds. If you are free player you can keep training and exchange the certificates when you get members back.

Experience certificates are non-tradeable. They only can be exchanged on members world. Members worlds gives the experience directly.

Full access to member areas on free player worlds. Minigames and all features accesibles, as being a current member.

You get the items but not the experience at doing quests. The skill rewards on free worlds are turned into experience certificates.

Your current member skills are useable on free player worlds. However the experience at use those skills will give experience certificates.

If you die carrying experience certificates you lose them. They stockeable but you will need space on inventory for every member skill you train on free worlds.

Any wish using a lamp or a tome on a member skill will give a experience certificate. Those needs be saved bank because if you die you lose them (said above)

The bank space on members and free players world will be the same. The friend and ignore list will have same capacity and clan chat/rank list will be extended to 200 members on both servers.

Houses will be accesible on free worlds, but construction training will give stockeable certificates. Free players needs go member worlds for exchange the certificates on experience.

Non-member skill will give experience on members and free player world as usual. The banner (add-on) will be still on free players world. Members worlds will not show a banner.

Only players that pays membership can access to both kind of servers. Members can train on free worlds and exchange certificates when back to a member server."

You get the items but not the experience at doing quests. The skill rewards on free worlds are turned into experience certificates.

If a never member want to train herblore he will can't, he will need to pay membership at least once, because the skill reward is turned into experience certificates and he will don't get the boost from herblore 1 to 3.

But if he loses the experience certificate, then he never will be able of train herblore: because he will keeps as herblore 1 and no potion is able to be made at that level (except buying a mature greenman ale)

But it will be hard. As solution, on quest rewards, the non member will not get the quest experience until he goes to member worlds. All other experiences will work normally (as suggested on first post)

Seriously your idea can be considered.

Because FTP don't have much bank space.

Even if FTP can do PTP skills by having 1 certificate for each skill.

I don't think any FTP players' will ever have enough bank space to keep the certificates and items required.

Yet again, most PTP players' wont allow this to happen.

FTP player.

Goal:

85/90 smithing. 12,000,000/100,000,000 coins.

Total hacked and scammed losses:

1 billion coins +/- (Not in today's currency).

I can't really understand bad grammar, but i think you're saying that f2p can train member's

skills, but they get xp in some kind of certificate. Big no-no.
