IRON DRAGON

Actually you only have to stand 2 squares away from any metal drag for it no to melee you. So if you have a Anti-Fire shield and Anti-Fire pots you won't get hit. Using the shield, however, will mean you need to use a cbow. Using a cbow really isn't any good unless you have emmy (e) bolts or higher.

So I mean you could try it, but I don't know how profitable it will be.

Apparently, my signature was to big.

umm me again... i was just wondering is there any range spots for pure rangers... ?

for teh iron drags cose trying to get the visage

Stay near walls, use anti fire potion and use shield also... Use either rune cross bow with enchanted bolts or bone crossbow with bone bolts. Theres no range spots, but with anti fire potion and shield u wont need any as it will ensure u wont get hit at all.

Cause they use either mele or fire breath...and fire breath is range, but as i said the anti dragon shield + anti fire potion will ensure that the fire breath that iron dragon shoots wont damage u at all. each dose of potion lasts for over 2min maybe more im not sure.

Anti-fires last 5 minutes. In my opinion, bone bolts are not worth it in this instance because ti will take a long time to kill them, so you will use a lot of anti-fires, outweighing the savings. Use emmy (e) bolts, or if you have a high ranged level, addy plain.

I know, but what if someone is low range and wanna have fun and cant afford bolts? Then id say bone cross and bolts wud be good. But to be honest, if u had high range level 80+ and good range bonus, bone cross and bolts wud do fine if u ask me.

With 81 range at black dragons is took me somewhere in the ballpark of 4-5 mins to kill 1 drag.

Honestly if you can't afford emmy (e) bolts, then you shouldnt be trying to range metal drags. Point blank. I don't even see how you could have "fun" trying to kill them as it would take upward of 7-8 minutes per drag which is 2 doses of anti-fire pots. Which they man two posts up said. You would lose more money than you gain. Unless you got a visage on the first drop.

So someone can afford anti-fires, but they cant afford emmy bolts?

I'd say they should be ranging blues if they are that dead-set on dragons.

Im just saying it is cheaper to use emmy bolts than to use that many anti-fires.It makes more economic sense, and saves time, giving you more of a chance to get a visage.
