November 20, 200718 yr I usually think of deathmatches (DMs) as a kind of in-Wilderness duel. Basically, players can agree to certain rules, but the options are much more limited. For example, you can't choose the items you keep and lose. Also, there is no way to enforce "honor" in a deathmatch. In a duel, it is possible to specify no prayer. However, in the Wilderness, just because a player says they won't use prayer doesn't mean they won't. Also, it is possible for other players to interfere with DMs as opposed to duels. Nevertheless, will we see more DMs in the Wilderness? ARENAscape: Baratus [AS] max hit: 166 with Moon Battle Hammer ixfd64 [AS] max hit: 116 with (untitled spell #2)
November 20, 200718 yr Dm's are usually held in the wilderness anyways. I don't see how an update to having tournaments changes any of the rules or the way they are held whether it be in duel arena or wilderness. Btw wrong forum.

Btw wrong forum. the most you can stake in the duel arena now is 3k, which is lame, and i don't think you can actually choose your opponent in the arena matches, but i haven't tried it, supposedly its pretty horrible. i think there will be a lot more cash-in-inventory dms, dueling is ruined for the moment. nudist hippy vegan elves who inexplicably wear leather.
