Legosimx
Well I believe this is the place to put it. Im cooking lobs, and Im getting mixed signals. Some of my higher level friends tell me to cook on ranges, because it has a better cook-to-burn rate than player made fires. Is this true? I have been cooking on ranges becasue of this, but I could probable have a decently higher level in Firemaking right now if I used fires throughout my life. If there is no differennce between fires and ranges, Ill just go fires and get that FM exp too along with cooking. Has anyone heard that ranges are better than fires before, or am I going crazy? Lunar_Drifter
Ranges do in fact burn less than fires do. You might also want to use the Lumbridge Kitchen range, because it burns even less. Use the RfD chest for banking if you've started the quest. Making fires yourself won't really net you that much firemaking experience. It would be faster to cook your lobsters in the Rogues Den on that fire, or on a Range, and then burn logs separately for the Firemaking experience. full_metal
Once you hit 76 cooking it doesnt matter, since you dont burn lobsters at all, fires or range. Its even lower if you use the cooking gauntlets from the Family Crest Quest (I think lvl 70?). ^Click for the greatest sig maker ever!If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.
