Blueleader9
Hey guys, I was wondering on what to train on for combat. I have 76 atk, 78-79str, and 75 def. (94 combat) Right now I am training on experiments. I have heard many people say training combat with slayer. I am wondering if it works well because you are changing monsters very often. Also, any other monsters that are like experiments, that are easy to camp at? Thanks, ~blue~ I'm wearing Rune Axe.Wearing? Did you selotape the axe on your chest?
ultimatballr
Training your combats with slayer is slower than power-training on experiments or almost and monster for that matter. It is a good thing to do though, as it gives you a variety to keep from being bored and it gives slayer levels which is always a bonus especially when Jagex comes out with new monsters that require a good slay lvl to kill. Apparently, my signature was to big.
Harrington
Sure, switching tasks for slayer is a slgithly slower way of training combat. Despite this, it's worthwhile doing for several reasons. 1. It breaks up the monotomy of fighting one type of monster. 2. Slayer monsters tend to have the best drops. 3. It's a difficult skill to train and you should do so whenever possible. 4. Many future monsters will likely have a slayer level. You'd miss out on many of these. I'd recommend both Edgeville and Lost City for tasks at your level. Remember to buy a black mask and stock up on plenty of supersets. A cannon can come in handy for certain tasks as well. cat666
You should train slayer with combat. The only exception should be range/mage on dragons or if you are camping for an item from a monster. Otherwise you are just wasting time when you could be getting 3x the XP. Trust the Gene Genie! Dexek
I can't see your stats on this computer, but I'll write down a few various spots to train. - Fire Giants with D-Hally. - Mossies with D-Scim/Whip. - Slayer with a Black Mask and appropriate weapon. - Ankou with a Salve (e) Amulet and appropriate weapon. - Giant Spiders with Whip, D-Scim, etc.. - Bandits with Guthans. - Ape Atoll Monkey Guards with Dharoks (by prayer altar). There are a few ideas. Sorry I can't see your stats to narrow it down, nor have the time to go into detail about the monsters. Almost time for my next class. PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape
