booduz69
I want to do that thingy where i completely delete everything from my hard-drive. My computer is infected with so much stuff and is so slow from all the stuff i have it would take to long to delete it all. I'm pretty sure i have all the necessary disc to re-install windows, but how do i reconfig. it in the first place? booduz.
Pyro
It depends on what you want to do with it. Simply want to remove everything? Grab any Bootdisk and type in Format C: when the computer has started. Want to remove everything and install Windows XP? Simply insert the Windows XP CD and reboot. When prompted, press the key that opens the installer. In the installer, choose to delete the current partition and create a new one. Watch Mr Gates do the work for you. The first isn't recomended, since odds are you *do* want an OS on it, even if it isn't Windows XP. So yeah, a little more detail wouldn't hurt. Make sure you have the following drivers available: Sound Graphics Card Network Card These are critical, and even though Sound/GFX drivers can usually be downloaded online, network drivers are a bit more annoying if you can't access the net.
