Read if your appealing a offence!

Hello tip.it community. PSU is here to give you some appealing tips. As you may know you have almost a 0% chance of them accepting your appeal, but these ideas may still help. (they can't hurt)

1. This is the most important. Almost NEVER apologize for a appeal. Jagex will say and i quote,"You have apologized for this offence and said it will not happen again. Whilst we encourage such apologies, we are afraid that the offence still stands." That is what they told me, word for word. Apologiseing may work for those with no black marks though.

2. If you know your guilty make something up. Mind you that this 9 out of 10 times will NOT[/b] work but it is better than apologizeing. Some things that you could say are,"While i was in the restroom my brother(who also plays) took my character and caused him to say those things." Or something along those lines. While it is not true it may work.

3. Claim to have been hacked. For example, "I was at a friends house playing runescape when i accidentaly typed my password in where my name goes. I had thought my friend didn't see because when I logged in the next day my friends list was deleted and my most expensive items gone." Many people think that Jagex traces your every move. Even though I don't think they do you can take some precautions. Delete your friends while writeing them down on a piece of paper. And for some of your items trade them to a trust-worthy friend. Bear in mind that your account may get locked from this. But if it does you can create a new account and get the items from your friend and re-type your friends list in.

4. Say there must have been a accident. (recamended for low black marked people) Say that s/he manipulated your words into an offencive manner when they werent offensive at all.

5. Apologise. This is your last resort, but if good if you have never commited a offence before. But if you have commited more then 2 offences dont apologise. If you do, be sure to make it as heartfelt as you can.

Like I have already stated. If you try my tips and they dont work it is not my fault. I have warned you that this is not 100% effective. These are ment to be used as a guideline not as a true guide.

In my experience, apologizing works.. or blaming the other person.

While playing on a different account of mine, a player asked me the url for a site. This was a common and trusting site, but he reported me nonetheless for saying a web address. After he said "reported" I reported him for Attempting to get other players to break the rules ( I forget which rule that is). Jagex gave me 0.5 black marks, I apologized, and stated how the other player convinced me to say that.. infact, it was in the evidence. They removed my 0.5 black marks, and that account is presently at 0. My only offence ever commited on any account. :-w
