I just got assign a load of jellies for slayer. The guides suggest using dragonhide rather then plate. In terms of shield, should I use my rune kite or a mind shield. Which will provide more protection?

you're looking for MAGIC defence bonuses. That's what protects you, but they really dont hit too hard regardless. Whip up your stats screen and have a play to find your balance between magic defense and assault.

 

 

 

I just go with everything maxing assault, except for drag body and legs.

Mind Sheild as it gives a mage defence bonus while rune kite gives a negative bonus. However, I would suggest using a guthix book, as then you would have magic defence and and attack bonus.
