If a certain monster drops a variety of rare items, one of which is a lvl 3 clue, will keeping the clue in your bank/inventory increase the drop rate of the other rare items (i.e. the next time I'd get a clue drop, I get a rare in its place instead because I already have a clue)?

No i don't think so i'd bet there couldn't be a clue drop if you have one, that means it's either only 100% drop or then it's 100% drop + any item it can drop

No it wont.. clues are dropped as a 'secondary' item, you get a clue and the normal drop of the monster at the same time so i'd assume clues make no difference to the regular monster drops.

to add that, every monster has it's specific clue + item

 

for example,

 

iron and steel drag drop rune dart (p) + clue

 

black dragon addy dart (p) + clue

 

jelly coins + clue
