Do the lunar set items disappear when one dies?

For example, if I die with my lunar torso on, will it vanish just like the god capes? Or can I come and pick it up after death like penance items?

I'd assume you can pick it up.. I haven't trie it though

Set your spawnpoint to falador, take out 3 items and your amulet. (The amulet sucks, so if you loose it it's no big deal) Die to white knights and see if your amulet is on the ground.
