well, i just finished desert tresure to get the ancient magicks and i got full mystic plenty of food and runes, i have a decent mage lvl (66) so i can use the lowest ice attack. but for some reason i still need to retreat in battle, i use prayer pots and sharks but i still tele out, am i missing something?

you cant pk with ancients til 70 for ice burst and even with ice burst its hard to kill even a defenceless autoer

It could be the enemy, for ex: wats ur cb, and are you a pure. People these days will have 80+ stats at even 50cb :XD:

 

Higher mage would help as somebody stated, 70 atleast, or u can try going to the mage arena and getting guthix staff for pking ~ very powerful :thumbsup:
