1st course ~170 , now I am making 2nd with ~140 ....

before that I had near 1000 kills with 1 drop at 3-4.

I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised.

1) People who get the bars sell them for the cheapest price on the Grand Exchange.

2) Jagex notices that they are continually having to drop the Grand Exchange prices on these items.

3) Jagex gets concerned that such a high level bar is losing its worth so fast.

4) Jagex nerfs a few droppers to try an control the economy of Runescape.

* Players who stocked these bars rather than selling make a tidy profit in a few weeks *

It all seems plausible to me. Jagex sees the price changes easily with the Grand Exchange, and can now detect massive drops, and nerf thing accordingly. :-k
