I got a visa gift card but im not sure how to use it to get my membership..... for example how do i fill in my name? The gift card is not registered with one. Also i don't know why, but jagex said they couldn't take the money out of the card and its a fresh $25 card.

When did you buy it? It usually takes a few hours to actually activate it.

 

 

 

As for your name, don't think it matters, but I just filled in my own.

 

 

 

And what Visa card is it exactly? I remember there was one specific one that doesn't work, because it doesn't allow reoccurring transactions.

i bought my card exactly at 3:50 today. And its a visa vanilla card.

Typically these cards are non-refundable, but you can always buy another one with the money on this card.

 

You'd just lose the money that you spent on the activation fee.

 

 

 

I had to do the same as well because my first card was American Express and they didn't accept it. The second I bought was Visa, but it wasn't Vanilla and it worked. (I said Mastercard on the other thread, sorry >_> typo, but Mastercard should work too)

Many local stores like Walgreens, Walmart, CVS sell them, as well as malls (or so I've heard). They typically come in set amounts ($30, $50, etc.) or refillable ones.

 

 

 

They're basically like debit cards or credit cards. Some have limitations but if you find the right one, then yes you can use it to buy membership.
