My Computer > Drive C: > Windows > System32

look in there if they are not in there:

Search windows.com for them. Or find a alternative to them...

you may have accidently removed them when doing a disc clean up, one of the options is to add or remove windows components

All you need is the [Caution: ExecutableFile] for both which is like 2kb... if you have another computer or something (just get it from a friend) throw the [Caution: ExecutableFile] on a floppy drive and put it in your /system 32 folder

Create a shorcut if you'd like, however you won't see it in the 'open with...' category, so you gotta do that manually

You can only use the 'add compenents' if you have the windows xp cd, otherwise you will have to do it manually.... and like I said, if you do it manually it won't be in your list of "open with...."

The specific things you are looking for in System32 are:

mspaint : Paint

calc : calculator

You can check if they are there by pressing WinKey + R and typing in mspaint for paint and calc for calculator :P
