I always make my pictures 100 X 100, but the KB's are higher and they won't accept it. How do I change the pic's KB size? Thanks.

Oh, sorry. It's just that I would like to do this in the future and know how to fix them.

You could change the format to something with better compression, or, things like photoshop have a "Save for web" option.

1). Make your avatars smaller

 

 

 

2). Use less colours

 

 

 

 

 

Smaller size means less pixels the file has to remember, and less colours means well... less colours it has to remember.

 

 

 

Bitmap files (.jpg, .png .gif etc) use an algorithm which remembers the co-ordinates of each pixel in the image, that's why big images are bigger KB's.
