got my first assigment on them... any recommendations?

Range them. There are a few safe spots. Broad arrows should hit somewhere between mith and addy depending on your ranged level.

 

 

 

Meleeing them is tedious because they can hit hard and you have to use that ridiculous spear that doesn't hit well so you have to bank too often for food, in my opinion.

Buthorpe them , never do anything that requires a special weapon. If you're dead-set on doing em, range them.
