December 9, 200718 yr I'm looking at training my Attack and Defence both to 70, but I'm not sure what to fight. I'd like to find a monster that doesn't require lots of food or potions, has semi-decent drops (perhaps clues), and isn't in a crowded place. I've heard about Experiments and Rock Crabs, but I also heard that they're very crowded now days (and I'd need to do the quest(s) to have access to them). Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thank you! Retired Member
December 9, 200718 yr Although you need a quest for Experiments, you don't need any for Rock Crabs. A common way of training combat is training it along with slayer. The variety makes it much less boring, and if you wear a black mask you'll get good exp. This signature is intentionally left blank.
December 9, 200718 yr Dont need quests for rock crabs, but I highly suggest you train through Slayer. Otherwise...with good armour desert bandits? Returned to Runescape June 2011 after a 3 year break :)
December 9, 200718 yr Author Okay, that's basically what I've been doing so far with members combat training. My Slayer level isn't very high, but I've been getting my assignments from the Slayer Master in the Edgeville Dungeon. It just seems like he doesn't assign me enough of one monster. The best assignment I got was to kill 65 Ogres and even that didn't last very long. Retired Member
