By chaos grantis, i think you mean chaos gauntlets, which are a quest reward from family crest, you have to get Johnathan to enchant the steel gauntlets from the Family Crest quest. Sorry, but thats all the advice i can provide, i don't work too hard on mage.

You can always do Mage training arena.
