Jagex/Real World Trading v Clans Pking

If Jagex are so concerned about real world trading, then why not stop playing trading in runescape altogether.

You could have specialist general stores for all skills,eg Herblore shop,Fletching shop,Woodcutting shop etc.

Regarding Woodcutting you could have a fixed price for say Mage Logs at 1k each to buy and sell logs, that way players wouldnt have to trade with each other ingame.

You could even keep the grand exchange, but still have specialist shops, for other items.

You could adjust the prices of items to supply and demand,or whenever you brought out new items,eg armour, weaponry etc.

If players are allowed to trade ,you could set a cash limit per day for less valuable items.

This way you could still keep pking as it was before in the wilderness,if the real reason for stopping it,was because you thought members were real life trading in the wilderness.

If non player trading was introduced this would stop real life trading for cash or items etc, and give players more time to play runescape.

The advantage of no player trading are,

1.No Scamming.

2.No Lending,Begging or Borrowing Items.

3.No Real World Trading.

4.For Clans the advantage is for events, Clan Members would have to turn up prepared for events.

All these are supposedly what Jagex have been trying to do,Stop Real World Trading,Stop members being Scammed Etc,and Help Clans.

Death - before - Dishonour

Yes, I think players can finally shut up now that they see JAGeX doesn't not care about the players. All this time they held their tongues while players bashed them. That takes guts. I'm not saying their updates would make everyone happy, but they sure were smart.

Taking PVP out of the wilderness couldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t have much to do with trading in the sense you are talking about, more like they are worried RWT's will turn auto retaliate off and let some one kill them for their money or what not... that̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s the only thing here I can think of.

There are other options here like limiting how much money you can take with you into the wild, all the trouble involved in selling regular items if they are taken as part of the kill should serve some what as a deterrent to this.

Frankly I think they have restricted Pking to Bounty Hunter because it is such a small area, and they can scan every one coming in and out of those caves. That̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s my theory behind all this.

Theres truth in the bounty hunter idea bufo. But i think it wasn't so that they could scan players, but create an area where it wouldn't be safe too have someone kill you for your drop as a way of real life trading. This is evident by the 10 people minimum limit, the much smaller area, the fact that you cant take cash into the arena, the fact that you are assigned a target and finally the fact that you have a symbol above your head too represent wealth.

So even if a RWT wanted too let a player kill them for a godsword it would be a very risky business.
