Recoils

Featured Replies

So I'm trying to get all the skills up on my Mage Pure as possible. Sadly, all combat is out of the picture due to 10 hp. I've seen some Skillers with decently high Slayer and was curious how. One of them told me Rings of Recoil.

I was curious as to how this method work; if someone could explain it in detail.

And with 10 hp, how high is it possible to get Slayer? I imagine the bigger monsters will be slightly harder to defeat.

You use rings of recoil, and food that heals around your max HP (trout). You turn auto-retaliate off, in your case cast a non-damaging spell (I suggest one that lowers the opponents attack), and let them hit you and get damaged by recoils. You use the lowest slayer master so you just get weak monsters for tasks. Good luck.

And i forgot the name of it, but there's something that raises your max hp so you can't be 1 hit. Which is how some of the skillers get lost city.

Off topic: Spudrow. how did you get 99 cooking? i think you wrote a guide on how to get it, but i can't seem to find it. If you could help me out and possibly post a link to it? But i might be wrong about you writing a guide on it.

Those are called Sara Brews. I believe they raise your HP and defence by a percentage, and lower some offensive stats.

Skillers also get friends to cast vengeance, and drop food for some quests. The friend also may do half of the damage, supply recoils, etc.. If you were just worried about HP, and didn't mind range levels, a cannon would work.

So using Sara Brews + Recoils could get me past quest monsters? Wow, I never thought of that, that could really help me out alot. As I'm new to the game (quit years ago) all my friends are long gone; does anyone officially help guide skillers through quests and such; for certain prices?

Sadly, I never created a guide for this. I completed 99 Cooking before I journeyed to Tip.It. If you'd like, just PM me with any questions and I'll help you out. If I find the time, I'll perform a detailed guide on it; as detailed as my others.

Ahh if you are a mage pure, then you are quite lucky when it comes to leveling slayer.

Most regular skillers can't use any magic attacks at all (even if they fail), because that would level up magic from the exp...

I suggest, bring 2 spare recoil rings (wear another), bring some curse spell runes and then a full inventory of chocolate/regular cake. Then go to your slayer monster, curse it and then walk a step away and make sure to have auto-retaliate off so that you wont retaliate, lol.

Sadly, no one has ever created a guide to it. But if i get the cash, the time, and the friends, i will go out questing, buying sara brews, and recoils, and do every qust you can possibly do as a skiller, and make a guide for it.

I might be able to do this in maybe half a year.

Thank you, i'll probably pm today.
