DivX Pro comes with the Pro codec, which allows for more flexible quality & compression control. A nice bonus for anyone who's looking into video compression (for example, squeezing more onto your iPod video).

 

 

 

Cool stuff, can you play DivX movies on an iPod video then?

 

 

 

I don't think iPods play divx encoded videos. I could be wrong though.

DivX is compliant with MPEG-4 encoding, so if iPods support that, then yes.

 

But I'm not sure if iPod supports MPEG-4.. Was just giving an example as to why you may want to compress a video. :)
