Getting a Favicon on your website?

Featured Replies

How do I get my favicon to appear in the address bar of my website? Do I need some code that I put between the

tags in the code? I have my favicon already saved as a .ico file, 16x16 pixels etc.

Does anyone that has a website with a favicon have any idea about this?

PS: The Favicon, for those who don't know, is the little icon that appears in the left side of the address bar such as the tip.it one.

If it didn't work, you didn't do something right. I use the exact same piece of code on my site (down the favicon file name and location) and it works perfectly.

Yeah, it could just be something with your browser or something. Browser like ie can be a real [swear word of your choice] about stupid things like that.

That's the code I've always used :?
