Money-Making: Dragonhide Tanning -- needs pics, but done

Dragonhide Tanning with the Grand Exchange

There are a lot of good money-making techniques out there. I've browsed a lot of them. Most are good, but a bit slow. This guide is probably doomed to rank their numbers. Some, almost all of the rest, require stats above 70 to be efficient. I know this is common for the average Tip.iter here, but there are those (like me) who don't have such high stats. We either haven't been playing long enough, or don't have enough patience, or both. Regardless, while looking for good crafting methods, that don't cost too much, I accidentally stumbled upon a (not new, just not touched upon in detail here, and not using the Grand Exchange) relatively fast money-maker: Running dragonhides from the Grand Exchange.

NOTE: This is my first guide. I picked a weak topic, and I'm inexperienced at making guides. Please don't flame me too badly.

1.0: The Basics

The ideas involved here are actually quite simple. The Grand Exchange's highest price for both green and blue dragonhides are more than 20 gp lower than the lowest price for dragon leather. So, you buy dragonhides, take them to the tanner, tan them, and sell the leather for a profit. Simple enough?

2.0: Buying and Selling

First things first, you must buy some dragonhides. Blue and green are the only ones that work, as nobody buys red or black leather. The prices are constantly changing, which one is better ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ã

Goals: Quest cape, skill range 10 or less, all stats above 60. (Although yes, I am aware that in order to do the first two, I have to do the third.)

I am sick and tired of people asking me to put stuff in my signature. If you agree with me, do NOT put this in your signature.

theres no guide? please type it out on word then post it all in one go next time.

Sorry about that. I'll make sure to do that next time. (And for this guide). But is it good to do a first draft in the word processor, and then add pics when the guide is up? I think it would be a bit hard to Ctrl-C Ctrl-V pics into the textfield...

I've noticed that in the few days since I posted this guide:

1) The profits from this method have gone down.

2) The number of people at the Al-Kharid tanner have gone up.

So:

1) Is this a coincidence, or is it because of this guide?

2) If the latter, be aware that it's barely profitable anymore.

Doubt its because of this guide lol.

This is a good way for low levels, but it takes a long time, and profits arn't high at all.

Great suggestions.

When I get pictures of them, I'll add the gear.

I'll try out energy/super energy pots, but I think that the lack of an inventory space isn't worth it.

Maybe I should also mention that high Agility helps?

Also, should I include pics one by one, or wait till I have all of them, and then make one big edit?

Thanks.
