xlorp Posted December 19, 2007 Share Posted December 19, 2007 This may not be immediately helpful to you now, but once you get your first set of sextant and watch, you can build up a bank inventory of sextants and watches to reduce replacement time if you lose them on a trail. You need craft level 23 for a sextant, 28 for a watch, steel bars, and a crafting table #4 (construction level 42) in your workshop. I haven't tried this step, but I suppose you could build up a stock of replacement charts by dropping the ones the professor gives you onto the floor and asking for replacements until you have a nice pile on the floor to pick up and stick in the bank.
