From memory (not accounting for rabbit foot pendant) when cutting magics expect one nest per 250 logs. Oaks were one per 100, and I'm not sure on others. If you are only after nests, I'd consider oaks, with rabbits foot pendant and consider cutting and dropping or cutting and burning Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

teatonev Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 Birds nests are quite a rare drop whilst woodcutting, so their appearance can be very random. I've gone whole wc levels without them and then got two in one inv load of logs. I personally have found mahoganies to be the most frequent droppers... But I have gotten the majority of mine from willows (all though I only cut willow and yews).
