December 23, 200718 yr Hello all, do willows drop more nests than magics or vise versa? Thanks in advance.
December 23, 200718 yr I don't think it matters, but you'll chop more willows, so I'd go for those. December 23, 200718 yr Author OK that is what I am doing now. Have 200 or so cut with 0 nests. Guess I will stay the course.
December 23, 200718 yr there is a difference between some of the trees. From memory (not accounting for rabbit foot pendant) when cutting magics expect one nest per 250 logs. Oaks were one per 100, and I'm not sure on others. If you are only after nests, I'd consider oaks, with rabbits foot pendant and consider cutting and dropping or cutting and burning
December 23, 200718 yr Author ok thanks for the information, but wouldn't it be 1 nest every 100 magics? or is the nest generally better from a magic thats why it takes longer?
December 23, 200718 yr Oaks were one per 100, and I'm not sure on others. May I ask how much of them you cutted for this information?
December 23, 200718 yr Birds nests are quite a rare drop whilst woodcutting, so their appearance can be very random. I've gone whole wc levels without them and then got two in one inv load of logs. I personally have found mahoganies to be the most frequent droppers...
December 23, 200718 yr I've got 76 wc and from my exp rbbit foot doesn't help... But I have gotten the majority of mine from willows (all though I only cut willow and yews).
