DarkDude
On Thursday night I did a DK trip, with someone, in this trip he got: Dragon Axe, Archer's ring while I got two Seerculls, That's about 5M of loot for him and 300k for me. On Friday night we go again: I get an axe and a mud staff while he gets nothing, that puts me roughly 300k higher than him. Saturday night, we go to armadyl with someone else, While getting the 120 kills to get into the dungeon he got about 90 of these drop (The person who I DKed with) while I had about 10 and the other person had 20. Now, I fail to see how that works, but ok I wasn't too bothered, maybe I was just getting unlucky. We go in and kill the actual boss, We killed ~15 of them (60 kills in there between us), out of those 60 kills, I had FIVE of the "main" drops (1k, 1k, 3 mushroom potatoes, 3 mushroom poatoes and 104 rune arrows) with only one of those being off the 580. I also had about 8 of the feather or boens that they dropped. Out of the 60 kills, about 40 of them fell to the guy who I DKed with, and it wasn't until he got a godsword shard drop that the other guy started getting all the drops. Fine, the godsword shard sent the first guy "over" me in terms of loot value, however the other person has had multiple items via lootshare, for example a visage and multiple meds off KBD and I definatly didn't expect to average a drop about one in every 10 or so! So why was I getting the raw end of the deal? Before this I'd never gotten anything good from lootshare (And neither had anyone I'd been with before). Without trying to turn this more "ranty" than "questiony" I'm just glad this happened before the trading update has come in, otherwise I'd have been stuck with just about enough money to pay for my sara brews I used that trip... let alone everything else I had to use. VjuliusT
I didn't really get what the question is but I'll try. I think it pretty much just depends on damage and luck also if you get something the other person gets a better chance getting the next item (vice versa). Also I think the prices go on alch value (in the chance of getting an item worth alot).
Hedgehog
i believe that if you do the most damage you have a higher percentage of getting the better drops.
HoMM88
if he gets a D Long (100k), next drop rune dagger will be yours (5k), then you are 95k behind him and still have a high change to get the next drop... My goals: 5M coins: 4350K+ coins 200k+ items - 2 dec 5M coins - 16 dec I have gotten my 5M by christmas. -bah this is only here for historical purposes now, I got 20m+ already "fail, well atleast the title,i wont read it with that colours""If you hadn't posted in rainbow I would actually give this a proper read""Colours suck."*I remove colours*"Where did all the colors go!? This is now 40% more likely to be tl;dr'd due to the lack of colors."
kemikalkadet
Lootshare doesn't work properly atm is the simple answer. I've used it quite a bit at godwars and it's always amazingly bias to one person. For example, last week me and 4 other people went on a long haul trip to bandos, we lasted around 20+ rounds. At a conservative estimate i'd say one person got around 85% of the drops (proper drops not junk like bones and eyepatches) i got a grand total of 3 drops from the whole trip, thats guards and bosses, all 1 mage log drop from the boss and 2 coin drops from the guards, while the guy getting all the drops got around 200k coins, a hilt and boots. thankfully we were sharing drops above boots, so i got a nice cut from the hilt, but when the 3k limit comes in this wont be possible. This isn't the only time this has happened either, but it's a good example of how bias it can be. I've been on a zammy trip once too where i got every single boss drop, and one team member didnt get a single thing.. including bones.
