The most effective way to use the altar is using the Ourania Teleport to go there (needs Lunar Diplomacy quest and 71 magic), and teleporting back to a bank via dueling rings, glory amulets or the Moonclan teleport. Body rune = 9gp ea. 40 runes = 360 gp. Ourania teleport = 2 astral + l law + 6 earth = 2*145+312+6*11 = 668 gp. Is spending 668 gp more efficient than spending 360 gp?
