I've attempted to kill him twice.

 

 

 

first time: (I tried to melee him)

I got him down to very low life. I was on my last pot and was careless, ring of life tele'd me out.

 

 

 

Second time:( I attempted to melee him again and this time I only fought his second form)

This time I did much worse, despite the fact that I had more prayer pots, and only had to fight his second form.

 

 

 

I only did 25 damage using up 4 and 3/4 prayer pots. I tele'd out before I wasted more.

 

 

 

I think the big difference is that this time, I used a prayer book that didn't have any pages in it instead of a defender.

 

 

 

So, with all of this information, can anyone give me a hand?

 

 

 

I have enough runes to cast earth blast 300 times.

I used melee, but then again I had over 80 in each melee stat when I did it.

 

On my current account I'm not doing it yet.

 

My friend on the other hand used iban blast with melee protect and he used 2 prayer pots I think, so I guess magic is your best bet.

No offense, but meleeing him is the silliest possible thing you can do. His second form can hit 28s and drain prayer. That being said, it is best to use magic to kill him, either by blocking or snaring/entangling. If you want to get a friend to help you, get him to stand beside a torch. Lure Damis to a small room with a torch that you can hide behind it. Get your friend to stand beside the torch, then walk behind your friend thus blocking Damis. Do not let anyone walk through your friend, as Damis will go through him and attack you.

 

 

 

Another method is to keep protect from melee prayer at all times and snare and earth wave him. That is the method I used, and I'm pretty sure he is weak to earth spells. Good luck, and remember to bring lots of prayer potions, teleport runes as well as sharks.

I highly recommend that you Mage him. Earth Spells are extra effective against Damis, I maged him with Earth Blast and prayer on him and had no problems at all against him.

 

 

 

Make sure you bank the Diamond right after you get it so you don't get attacked by the Stranger, he's lethal.
