Could someone tell what what is classed as spam on the forums please?

 

 

 

I asked a legitimate question regarding my inventory bag and it was locked as spam??

Anything that has no relevance to anything, much like this.

 

Multiple threads, asking the same thing as another.

 

Pointless questions, flame posts, and rude posts.

Pointless questions...hmm ok. Maybe thats a bit subjective but ok

The main reason I locked your other one was because it sounded like some of the typical spam you get around here, backed up with little proof.

 

 

 

If you feel that you really did see a Magic Eye puzzle, get a picture of it and post it. Put some proof behind it so the post sounds more credible than just some spam.

 

 

 

If you feel your post was wrongly locked, in future, PM the mod who locked it and talk to them privately. :)

That's cool, doesn't hurt to ask these questions, but PM's are better because that way the problem can be discussed privately without your new topic on the issue being spammed up by others.

Well, pointless to other people, like say, if i asked how was the weather was in you area, in the help and advice forum, it would be rather pointless.

 

Yes, it is a bit subjective, but try to use common sense when posting, make sure it's serious, and would get a serious response. The best way to get a serious response would be to use proper grammar, and being nice, but of course this is only my opinion.
