The Ice Giant(Level 53) entry in the database is incorrect. It says they have 70 hitpoints, and they have 71. The fightning calculator is correct, however. I have independantly confirmed 71 hitpoints of Ice Giant(level 53) The ratio is actually 1.34.

It says that there is no quest to start to kill them, but they are located in The Legends dungeon.In which you needed to have at least started the quest.

Check the guide in my signature, you'll see Ice Giants are 70 hitpoints. Also, I'm going to go re-scan them right now, just to please you and prove you wrong. (Yes, it was 70.) In future, please don't submit incorrect information in order to get credit, as it makes more work for both me and the crew having to correct it. If this was an honest mistake, please forgive me for the previous sentence, but do check the guide in my signature before submitting HP in the future. Better yet, leave it to me... thanks!

PS - Don't try any "it lost one hitpoint before you killed it". This is why, when scanning, I wait for monsters to spawn before scanning. I once spent 5 hours re-checking Tarn's Lair for the sole reason that I was only 99% sure everything was correct. It was, but it satisfied me and I found two new monsters I missed, and made a nice spawn map for Tip.It... which I think I forgot to submit.

 

 

 

And forgive me if I sound like a jerk in this post... I'm not trying to be, just making sure the correct information stays put.

my bad. :oops: In that case, the fighting calculator is incorrect, as it has 71. The 5 I fought may have regenerated health, or I miscounted.

If you are referring to the "Quest" checkbox, then that actually means the monster is defeated as a part of a quest, not merely that a quest is needed to access them. Half the moneters in RS would be Quest Monsters if that were true, but thanks for trying to help. :)
