I am currently focusing on strength with goal of getting it to 99. My attack is can be assumed to be 40. Which weapon should i use to train effective?(Take account that monster's def lvl is high)

 

 

 

It seem that scimmys are seem to be lousier maybe due to drop in value,rune battleaxe on the other hand seems to get popular..anyone knoes why?

Rune scimitars are much better. The extra strength bonus of the B-axe is not enough to componsate for the extra speed. 2hs are out of the question. Also, rune scimitars used to be 25-30k ea, B-axes 35-50k ea. Now Rune scimmies are 22k ea, B-axes 25k ea...

The recent rise in price of Baxes(or not dropping) is because the price of them in ge is less than the alch value. Stick with the Scimitar.

I would probably go with the rune scimitar. (My favorite weapon. :mrgreen: )

 

 

 

That is because of it's slighter faster speed than most other weapons and hits relatively hard. On the other hand, unless you want to do some knock-outs, rune 2-hander is horrible because even though you are able to hit hard, the speed is extremely slow.

Rune scimitar hands down.

 

You will get higher xp rate due to the speed, the only way a slow weapon could compete is if the str bonus is high enough, Baxe is too slow to compensate with strength, so is r2h. a good example with this is Whip-Godsword(evens out,with a slight win for whip if you are training.(Whip cant train str, so godsword is the best str training weapon as far as i know..))
