Blades of Ceremony

Featured Replies

(IF anyone thinks that i've copied them, i'm sorry. Your idea sounded so kickass that I decided to make it in my own way. If you want credit, i'll add it, kay?)

Details: P2P Only. Requires Crafting and the sword itself

This idea is quite simple, you need to have completed 'The Knights Sword' and have an adequete Crafting level to turn your sword into a Ceremonial Blade.

Which Varieties of Sword can be changed into Blades of Ceremony?

You may change Short Swords, Longswords, Scimitars and Two Handed Swords into Blades of Ceremony. All varieties of sword EXCEPT DRAGON, BRONZE, AND IRON may be changed, at the levels said below

What are the levels you need to change the swords?

Well, You need:

Level 20: Steel Short or Long Swords (with Emeralds and 1 Blurite Bar)

Level 25: Steel Scimitar or Two Hander (With Emeralds and 2 Blurite Bars)

Level 35: Mithril Short or Long Swords (With Rubies and 1 Blurite Bar)

Level 40: Mithril Scimitar or Two Hander (With Rubies and 2 Blurite Bars)

Level 50: Adamant Short or Long Swords (With Diamonds and 2 Blurite Bars)

Level 55: Adamant Scimitar or Two Hander (With Diamonds and 3 Blurite Bars)

Level 65: Runite Short or Long Swords (With Diamonds, 2 Gold Bars and 3 Blurite Bars)

Level 70: Runite Scimitar or Two Hander (With Diamonds, 4 Gold Bars and 6 Blurite Bars)

What else can I do with them? These sound rubbish!

First off, the Blades of Ceremony do NOT have different stats to their normal forms, and cannot be traded. They will, however, be sent straight to the Grand Exchange Collect Box of your killer OR shared equally in Lootshare for the value of the components at the HIGHEST value (so, the highest grand exchange prices for a Rune Scimitar, a Diamond, 4 Gold Bars, added to 6K for a Runite Blade of Ceremony)

Next, You may enchant each Blade of Ceremony with the relevant Enchant Spell, giving effects as shown below:

Artisan Blade: Enchanted Steel Blade of Ceremony

If Short/Long Sword: The Special Attack is a Range Based Earth Attack, dealing Crushing Damage from 5-13. Costs 30% of your Bar

If Scimitar/Two Hander: The Special Attack is a Range Based Earth Attack, dealing Crushing Damage from 8-17. Costs 40% of your Bar

Revenant Blade: Enchanted Mithril Blade of Ceremony

If Short/Long Sword: The Special Attack is a Mage/Range Attack, which ignores the armour of a Ghost/Undead. It deals 8-17 Damage. Costs 25% of your bar

If Scimitar/Two Handed Sword: The Special Attack is the same as above, but the sword deals 12-21 Damage of no particular type against Undead or Ghosts in the Wilderness for the same amount of your Bar (25%)

Fireforge's Blade: Enchanted Adamant Blade of Ceremony

If Short/Long Sword: The Special Attack is a Melee Based attack which deals double damage. Costs 40% of your Bar

If Scimitar/Two Hander: The Special Attack is a Melee/Mage Based Attack which deals normal damage of both types (not based on Magic Level)

Honour Blade: Enchanted Runite Blade of Ceremony

If Either Type of Blade: Your attacks have a Broodoo Effect in the first round of fighting. See Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup for Broodoo stuff

If Short/Long Sword: The Special Attack gives you +15% Strength and Defence, at the cost of 10% Attack. Costs 25% of your Bar

If Scimitar/Two Hander: The Special Attack gives you +20% Strength and +15% Defence, at the cost of 10% Attack. Costs 25% of your Bar

Finally, and perhaps the most important, this is how you make the Blades of Ceremony:

Firstly, Chisel 3 Cut Gems of the required gem into Gemdust. Then, add this dust to your Blurite Bars. Now use the Blade and Bars with a Furnace

Secondly, you must add a Container of Water to this Blade. If you fail to do so, your Blade will be destroyed in 5 minutes.

Thirdly, add a secondary Gem to the mix in the hilt. Add it back to the furnace when the Gem is in your inventory. Now repeat the Second Step

OPTIONAL: Finally, use an Enchant of the relevant level TWICE on your Blade. Now you have your blade![/b]

Boom! Dead Shot

So, tell me if I'm wrong, this is like a reward for staking or something? I don't personally think that it would add so much to the game, it's nothing really special, if the swords don't have different stats.

sorry, but take a look at sword encrusting. Better idea, because the stats are modified as well as the looks and price.
