Account locked - Appeal accepted - Still locked

Featured Replies

I don't think this goes under the banning/muting thread cause my account is locked, not banned.

Okay so basically, my account was hacked, and Jagex noticed a change in IP and locked it. I appealed the lock 17 times, every single time denied, until I finally found my old transaction number. I appealed again with the transaction number, and it was accepted!

However, whenever I follow the instructions, I get this:

As you can see, my appeal has been accepted, but my account remains locked. Now, I've appealed again and again, and each time it is accepted. I've waited two days as well, as to allow for slow reaction time on Jagex's part, but it still remains locked.

Any advice?

Hey.

Dont' keep appealing as Jagex obviously thinks that they have accepted it and won't do it again. They will now think whoever asks for it to be unlocked now is the hacker.

I suggest you write a letter and send it Jaegx via e-mail or use the forums to contact some helpful mods. They should be able to sort you out.

Hope this helps!

I cant go on the forums, my account is locked. I cant log in to any features.

There's no point including it in the appeal, they don't read them manually. My appeals are accepted within 100 seconds of me pressing Ok.

I've thought about how to contact them. I can't post on their forums, so I came here. Hopefully a jmod reads these forums. If anyone sees a jmod in game, can you ask them, please? I know you dont know me but egh, I'd appreciate it.

I think i'll send them a letter via snail mail. Email, they don't contact players, I doubt they read it to be honest.

Hey.

Weird. Maybe there's some kind of communication error? I think you should wait it out.

I think you are supposed to change your password, then it becomes unlocked enough to change your recoveries, then you have it back.

That's what it takes to be a hero, a little gem

of innocence inside of you that makes you want

to believe that there still exists a right and wrong,

that decency will somehow triumph in the end.
