I killed him once too. Don't use poison weapons. it can be solved by logging in again. And btw, you arent supposed to beat him My blog

When you kill him he'll appear again, after killing him make sure nothing else is attacking you (like scarabs) then select the option 'what on deities is going on here?' or something like that, then he'll recover his mind 'he was possessed or something) and then he'll tell you to speak to the sophanem high priest, and quest completed
