Bostonjoe
I'm contacting as many RS fans as I can to help me save PvPing. As you probably know Jagex recently released a group of updates to help discourage real world trading! Now, understand I am not against these updates, I'm all for them! I understand the importance of stamping out macros. But I'm very sad about the changes that have taken place in the wilderness. However, rather then ranting about it and begging Runescape to bring back the old wilderness I plan on merely suggesting things to improve Bounty Hunter and Clan Wars in hopes that it will become more apealing to the old timer pkers. I have posted a thread to the Runescape forums in Suggestions. It can be found with this Quick find code: 24-25-865-55246000 Please read it and give me some feedback. If you would like me to add you to a list of supporters I'm working on, private message me. Also please bump me if you support this. Thank you for your time and consideration! :D -Bostonjoe Master Of Mystery <(RL Blog!)Ironic Occurences Of Bostonjoe <(TipIt Blog!)
Bostonjoe
A sample of my idea on the forums. I know there's alot of people who do not like the new wilderness. I understand why Jagex had to do make the changes, but at the same time I am sad that I cannot pk the same way anymore. However, rather then ranting/begging Jagex to change it back I would rather give some suggestions on possible changes or add ons to Bounty Hunter to make it more appealing to the older PKers. New Maps: I think BH and Clan wars would be more apealing if there were new arenas similar to the places we used to pk at in the wilderness. There could be an arena that looks like the Dark Knights Fortress, or other areas such as The Bandit Camp, Chaos Temple, Bone Yard, Forgotten Cemetary, Demonic Ruins, Lava Maze, Rouges Castle, that valcano thingy to the northeast. Non-Multi BH: Also, how about a form of Bounty Hunter that is non-multi? Multible Rounds/New Modes for Clan Wars: What about a new mode for Clan Wars? Attacker/Defender mode. In this version of Clan Wars one team is assigned to defend a certain area that they cannot leave. The other team has to attack it and kill all oppsing players inside. At the end of the first round they would trade places. (Attackers now defend, defenders now attack). If each team wins one round, they go into a round three (tie breaker). If you like these ideas show your support by bumping this thhread AND my thread on RS forums. Artificial_Doom_Flavor
No mini-games. I much prefer the old formula that was a part of the game's core. Unfortunately, Jagex does not see things that way (don't ask me why- after all, the customers liked things the way they were). Still enjoying RuneScape? cowmasta13
Defend the base would be very hard in RS as attacking someone does not make them stop moving. They could just run their way into the castle if they ate food fast enough.
