mujammil
Hey i have a few questions. By the time i get to mageing these beasts i'll be 84 mage and will have full ahrims and will be mageing with chaos gauntlets. What i want to know is: Is there a good guide on tip.it that will show me the basics on mageing them, like where to stand etc, i use the search button and it never works :? At my soon to be mage level, roughly how many could i kill per hour? Roughly how much xp would i get per hour. I have suffered lots of losses, just recently lost 10m :( so i'm pretty broke, will have around 4m cash to spend excluding ahrims. So will it be worth it? That's all i can think of atm, if i tinhk of anything else i'll add it. Thanks again. ~Muj~
palas1
Just stand anywhere, they don't attack you with melee if you are not close to them.
ultimatballr
The guide on the actual tip.it site (not forums) is what I used when I first started killing them. When you att them (or they att you) just stand two or three squares away from them. As long as you have anti-fire shield AND pots then you won't take any damage. I like to bring 8-12 anti-fire pots to reserve invent space for d bones + other drops. That's just me though. You could go there wth a full invent (accept casting runes etc etc) meaning fill the rest of your invent with pots and stay for literally 24 hours. Apparently, my signature was to big. tryto
I'd say start on steels, if you start to feel you're not hitting enough, switch to irons. tryto
Grab it, and run back 2 steps, and resume maging. EDIT: Assumed you were already there for 15 minutes plus. If not, just use melee protect when grabbing, as stated below. Foooman
Well what happens when im going to pick up my loot and there is a dragon in melleing distance, what do i do then =/ ~Muj~ Throw on melee prayer, loot, turn off prayer. By the time you get to 0 prayer, the dragons will no longer be agressive to you.
