NEW: Scarabites as slayer task

Featured Replies

You can now get scarabites as slayer task. I just got a task consisting of 84 scarabites. You can kill scarabs, rangers, mages, lancers and all the other scarabites inside the new dungeon, the contact dungeon and outside at the new swamp-like area east of sophanem.

I'm not sure whether killing the following monsters contribute to your task:

dried zombies (at the new plateau)*

skeletons (at the new plateau)*

mummies (at the new plateau)*

scarab larvas (inside the new dungeon)

*These do drop scarabite notes though, so they might be scarabites too

Scabarites, actually, not scarabites. Yeah, I know... it's weird.

  • Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.
  • Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.

I've added Scabarites to the Slayer guide; along with the spelling mistake mentioned in an earlier thread, this update is waiting for release.

I'll keep this thread open pending varification for the other monsters you've mentioned.

I just realized... I can confirm the Scarab larvas and Mummies are not slayer monsters at all:

Zombies and skeletons are already an existing Slayer task, so I'll presume the other two fall into those catagories.

In which case, I'll lock this thread. But feel free to open a new thread if anyone finds evidence to the contrary. :)
