I just got a task of 133 hellhounds. I usually kill them in the dungeon in witchhaven, but it always gets really busy there, and the re-spawn times are slow due to there only being two hellhounds down there. I was wondering, would it be worth it if I killed the hellhounds in lvl 50+ wilderness, or would the revenants be to much of a problem?

 

 

 

P.S I would be using a death setup, so if I die I lose very little.

That's what I always used. If you find that you are getting hit to much damage, there is a nice rage spot there as well.

I've thought about using that place, but it seems to get busy there to, and I was just wondering what the wilderness hellhounds would be like.

What about the god war dungeon, there are lots of them in the zammy section. Bring a zammy item and you will be fine there.

Taverly hellhounds were what I used for slayer...bring guthans and you'll be fine. You might have to use it almost all the time though.

Unfortunatly I am not in possession of guthans anymore :/ I'm cureently using torags, so at least I have some good defence. I might think about going to God Wars, however I'm still interested on what people think of wilderness hellhounds now :)

Don't bother with wilderness Hellhounds especially if you aren't ranging because Revenants hit high on armour. Just go to Taverly Dungeon on a world with 1900+ people so they spawn fast. Go to the western part of the room and hide behind the stelactites in a way that you can range 3+ spawns and range away. Bring a canon if you like.

Being that the hellhound is only located in the deep wild, you would be able to be attacked by almost evert revenant that wandered near you.

 

If you are willing to accept death, there is no reason to stop you.
