January 7, 200818 yr Hello and welcome This is my first attempt at a guide, and is about something that I use when I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m bored to gain Woodcutting and Firemaking exp, which can also be used in F2P. To do this you will require Both 30 Woodcutting and Firemaking, also 41 attack to be able to wield your rune axe, or the certain attack level to wield the appropiate axe. This spot is known by some and will be completely new to others, the area I am talking about is Welcome to your new home... Now we will be focusing on these two trees, say hello to them. These are the two trees that you will be cutting down. Now, as for equipment, anything can be worn really, if you wish to kill randoms a setup like this could be used Or something more casual can be used, this is my personal favourite So, what are you waiting for? Start chopping them down. *27 Logs later* Okay, now that our inventories are full we will want to start burning. This is where your fire line will start Now, to minimise mouse movement, and in turn the risk of CTS (carpal tunnel syndrome), there is a method that we can use. What you have to do is follow these (simple) diagrams. Now̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ, these may look a bit confusing but they really are simple, the numbers mean the order in which you should burn your logs, and lines mean that you will follow along this path before moving onto the next number. Okay, now the special bit comes with number 3, see that gap you made with your first fire?, this is when you move your tinderbox into that spot. After you burn the last log in set two you start burning log ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâ3̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ as normal, then, as soon as you click to use the tinderbox with the log you must quickly go back and drag the tinderbox to the empty square. Then, as your character starts to turn around to face the fire you must let go of the tinderbox on space ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâ1̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ and VERY quickly use the tinderbox with a nearby log, preferably log ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâ4̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢, if done correctly you should be lighting the ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâ4̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ fire just as fast as you have been every other one. This is because there is normally a 2-3 second lag before you will start a new fire, this means that you should have just enough time to move the tinderbox to its new spot and keep on going without interruption. N.B This technique can also sometimes be used to move across squares to avoid the ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâYou can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t light a fire here̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ message or other obstacles, but this is much harder to master. Now just in case that was too confusing, or you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re too lazy to read (hopefully not the latter), I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve gone to the trouble to make a visual demonstration of the process. That can be found here: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=JqZZLfFJwTU I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m currently trying to get the average exp pre hour, it should be up by next week if I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m allowed enough time̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ Constructive criticism would be helpful.
January 7, 200818 yr Looks like I've got competition  Some C.C. Need to explain more about woodcutting and what you are doing with it and some parts need to be described a bit more but other then that 6/10 : EDIT: Mate i just realized you copied me! As if i didn't figure it out in the title. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
January 7, 200818 yr It doesn't seem so neatly organized. But it is a good guide. Add a table on contents, and add more content. ~It's Super Effective! Oh, um, my bad =p Yea i understand if your annoyed. Just ignore the edit in my first post :wall: But yea you just need to work on the wood cutting a bit. Also our guides to be honest are completely different. Mine explains the aspect of banking logs and dropping plus burning them and your explains the technique of burning them which i forgot to add iin!!!   . Just pm me if you want to copy a tad of my guide for any reason :   My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
January 10, 200818 yr I've been using this method for the past 3 days and I've got to say, It works great! I've taken my woodcutting from 70 to 74 and my fire making from 63 to 71. I've probably only played 2-3 hours each of the three days as well. I have full intentions of taking both skills to 99. Any suggestions or do I just stay on this course? This is an extremely good way to train both skills for those who have little money. Thank you for the guide, works great. http://www.draynor.net/stat/black/male/ ... en_Boy.gif

January 11, 200818 yr Well... The burning technique is honestly the only thing I found helpful. The rest is just...simple, cut and burn where you can and not stop...I'd normaly not just rant about how bad/useless the guide is with out following with some adive on how to mae it better, in this case I really can't see anyways... For the exp per hour it's pretty easy, just start off right next to the tree with your begging woodcutting/firemaking exp written down then, start a timer and cut, once you inventory is full run to where you burn, burn the logs all up and run back to the tree and stop the timer, record the firemaking/woodcutting exp, subtact the two to find an answer, now divid the amount of time shown in timer, into 60, take this answer and multiply it by the exp you've made. The answer you will come up with is the exp per hour, do this around 5 times and average then together to get you average exp per hour.
