ortiz9471 Posted January 7, 2008 Share Posted January 7, 2008 Today I decided I wanted to experiment with dag kings for the first time, without a guide :-w I solo mage rex using the safespot. Easy. But how do you get it so that only 1 of the other 2 (supreme/prime) is attacking you? Having both attack you eats up your brews by the time i can get a single kill in. And I can't figure out how to get one off of me... Help? P.S. I did 3 trips today (this is just a little story for fun lol) first trip - got into the kings place, but had no brews because i didnt realize i had to use prayer getting there #-o second trip - i get 1 kill and got a warrior ring.. then ran out of brews because had supreme and prime on me at same time and tellied third trip - got rex full redbarred but ran out of brews and was on low health so tellied Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ortiz9471 Posted January 7, 2008 Author Share Posted January 7, 2008 that actually makes a lot of sense.. why didn't i think of that :wall: but doesn't it make more sense to kill the mage, so then all you have on you is the lvl 76 rangers on the outside and the big ranger? so you can use range pray and not get hit at all instead of mage pray and still take that little damage from the outside guys? plus they poison a lot.. Basically the suicider runs in before you, gets all three on him, tells you to go in. you then run along the south edge of lair to get to far east part. So that way the prime and supreme aren't on you, then you just wait for prime to wander nearby you and mage him to safespot. EDIT: bring antis too, and sara brews and sup restores. guthans is useful to heal off spinolyps. Bring 3 or four brews for when no spinolyps are near, never go more than 3 or 4 spaces from east side, use restores to get prayer/after sara brews. I think that's it :-k Also check a guide, it's not very smart to not look at one when there are plenty that are easily found(such as the one on tipit) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Its much easier to find willing participants duo maging. That's the best way to do it without a suicider.
